Taking a dip at 600 feet! Shangri-La hotel opens one of the highest swimming pools in the world ... on 52nd floor of London's Shard

London's Shangri-La hotel has opened West Europe's highest swimming pool. On the 52nd floor of the Shard, the capital's tallest building, the pool, which stands a staggering 600ft above the city, has views over the Thames, Westminster and St Paul's Cathedral. While day time use will be reserved for guests, from 8.30pm the public will be able to catch a glimpse of it when they visit the hotel's Gong.
